Default Real money

Yeah - I guess this thread belongs here.

Ive been playing poker a little for a few years, but obviously nothing real.
Recently Ive been playing seriously though, on the play money tables at poker stars.

But anyway- how long should I wait to move up to the penny tables? How much better are they up there? Should I wait to totally dominate play money before I move on? I was thinking it was practically a different game with real money, so I can't wait to move on.

thanks ;p

A lot of the time, it feels like the play money players are better than the penny table players...

...but most of the time they spent their time going all-in pre-flop with A7o ;p
You learn absolutely nothing playing in play money tables, except the hands and the software.

Yup, play money = all in PF and pray! If you wanna play a serious game, but don't want to dick around with net teller or what not, a good idea is to get a few friends together and play IRL. I mean poker isn't like BW, alot of people know how to play, and I bet if you look around in your area you can find a few people willing to get a game going or even a steady game that you can join. That's how I first started playing, and now I play with friends every weekend .

I played play money to get used to the software and then I hate the .01/.02 tables and adapted quickly. You should move in when you feel comfortable and get a strategy and go for it.
