Default What would correspond the two monetary values in 10$/20$ as in "10$/20$ stake table"

    Hello,

I am a total poker newbie. I've seen on alot of poker sites offering 10$/20$ stake or 25$/50$ stake NL or FL. I know that NL stands for No Limit and FL for fixed limit. But for the 10$ slash 20$ i don't. Is the first value the small blind and the other the big blind fees? Can anyone explain this to me or at least refer to somewhere I can learn it.

    Thanks

You are correct they do refer to small and big blind stakes. You may hear a game refered to as 50nl too that means that its is a cash game has a full buy in of 50 dollars and the bb and small blinds are .25/.5 so .25/.5$ and 50 nl are the same things. I like your example hope you are not playing at 10/20$ if you are noob
