Ive been playing poker ever since i was about 7 years old and my grandfather decided to teach me. I have been on both sides of the table.. down to my last chip and up $10,000. I am now 28 years old and believe that i have a pretty good understanding and respect for this game. Recently i decided to download and try Jonathan Little's training videos to help prep myself for a tournament online. I usually play poker at casino tables and with friends and always was a bit hesitant about playing online. I like sitting at a table, trying to get a read on the other players, watching their pressure points, checking there upper lips and temples for any developing sweat or increased pulse rates. Any visual cues such as looking in certain directions before calling or raising, etc.. A lot of this gets lost when playing online with "virtual" players with "virtually" no tells... So i started small, mainly with the 10/25 blind tables... i was doing OK online. I was winning about 50 percent of the hands that i played or so.. nothing special, but like i said, i like the confrontation with other players at the same table. Probably because i've read tons of books on interrogation techniques and lie detection and got a pretty good understanding of peoples reactions and body language in high pressure and tense situations. I decided to give Jonathan Littles training videos a chance and have to say that i was impressed, because I started to dominate the online poker tables which gave me a boost of confidence to jump into the higher blind tables and i have to say that information provided in his videos and that self confidence carried right into the higher tables. Just curious if anyone else has had the same luck with this program as I have.
