Default pls help on some rules

    Hi Guys ,
I've been thinking on a few matters I've seen in some friendly games at home ,
1st : min raise , as I understand it one may only raise the minimum of the
    BB yes ? i.e if BB is 600 , min raise is 1200total and a further re-raise
    is 1st raise+BB (min raise) = 1800 ... do I have this right ?

2nd : 2 pairs on the board with a big kicker ...my general knowlege tells
me its the best 5-card draw which wins , so if one has 22 and another has
A5 , if the board comes 44766 , then the guy with A5 wins , is this right ?

I'm sure I once was sure of the 2nd part but found myself doubting wot I
    know ...lol
    appriciate all answers thanks ...

Yep, correct on both. Except the 1st one has one other stipulation. A raise has to be at least the size of the BB, or if someone raises, a re-raise has to be at least the size of that raise. Example: blinds 50/100, Bob raises to 300 (a raise of 200). The next raise must be to at least 500 (another raise of 200).

yes thats good news .... thanks for that azeldin , the reason is I try to be paitient ,but some ppl I play with have this terribly bad
habit of calling a raise and re-raising 1 unit only .... very irritating
I prefer a proper raise then at least I can get some better infomation.....

hhmmm , I wonder about that though .... would this be ok :
    BB = 100 , raise to 300total (increase 200) , re-raise to 400total
    which is 1st raise total + BB = 400 total ....?
or are you saying that since the 1st raiser raised more than min-raise
ie increase 200 instead of 100 (BB) then the new min re-raise is by 200 ?

Hi guys , I have some more issues to clear up ...
1.the board comes all hearts with an A on the river , i.e the nut flush is on the board , with 2 players left, is it a split pot if one player
has K of hearts and the other player has nothing ?
2.if one player has a full house on the turn and the other player has nothing , the river makes it quads on the board, is it a split pot ?

Only thought about these things recently ... I appriciate all help ..

    1. Player with K of hearts wins. For example board is 359JA... Player with the K has a flush of AKJ95 but player with no hearts plays the board and has AJ953 flush.

    2. Whoever has the highest kicker wins. Example board is 3QQQQ, player 1 has 99 and player 2 has K7. Player 2 wins because his best hand is QQQQK whereas player 1's is QQQQ9. They only split if they have the same kicker, or the kicker on the board is higher than both theirs.
