    If you're playing a cash game, have at least 30x the max buyin in your bankroll. If you don't have that much, play lower stakes.

    Same goes for sit-n-gos, but you should have 50x.

    100x for multi-table tournaments.

    Read some books to learn the basics, then start to post in poker strategy forums. Both of these two will really help your game.

    River: ($812) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Total pot: $812

    Results:
    Button had A, 4 (two pair, Aces and fours).
    Hero had K, J (high card, Ace).
    Outcome: Button won $809


    try and make sure river is a queen when you do this at unlimited hold thems

    Any tips? Ask good questions. Then you'll get better answers.

    Forums are a great way to learn the game, but really - your question is so open ended. What games are you playing? How long have you been playing? Do you know the rules of poker?

    Be specific and you'll get good responses. But here's my tip....

    Read, absorb, play, review, read, absorb, play, review.

    tips? play, learn, play then learn from it again.. i would suggest to play poker not with the newbies.. and observe the way they play..
