Hello everyone.
I have been lurking in the shadows of the poker forums for a little while now and I figured I would post. I got seriously interested in poker this summer when my father played in the WSOP senior no limit holdem and made it in to the money. He actually made it under 100. Since I have been playing cards with him forever, I figured that if he can do well I can too.
I have been reading the posts here and at tagpoker. Brokerstar's posts and videos have been really helpful. I am going to start by playing low stakes sng with a free bankroll and see where I can get with that.

Hey nice to meet you.
Glad you got something from the videos.
If you want as a one off, if you're playing the micro stakes, heads up SNG's, I'll do a couple of sweat sessions with you over skype and team viewer. We'll talk about your fundimentals, some strategy and I'll watch you play a game or two then maybe catch up a week later or something to see how you're getting on and review your game?
Let me know if you're interested.

Sure no worries.
I play and have played pretty much 100% cash for the last few years but have been trying to come up with a very low varience way for newbies to build a baby bankroll.
I think the micro HUSNG's are an easy way to do this and the varience is low due to the poor quality of opponent. The other reason that most newbies go broke is tilt and bad BR management. I again think the SNG is great here as when you're out, it's easier to stay out. When your playing cash the auto top up feature can be your enemy when you're steaming. lol
Anyway there was a point to this post. I've put my own style together which seems to crush the micro games ($2 and $5 regular speed HUSNG) and I'm just about to start working with one of the top coaches from HUSNG.com to put together a solid HUSNG fundimentals course.
So I don't feel as if I have enough experience playing these games to charge but I have been a winning poker player for over three years and coached lots of ssnl players in cash games. So in the next few weeks I'll put together a group session for anyone that is interested to do some sweat sessions of matches and discuss the best ways to exploit different player types.
So if there is enough interest I'll put a thread together and get something sorted out. I'm in the UK so it would probably evening time here, 7pm ish.

Good luck! I did the same thing for a little while a few years back and had a blast doing it! Have you checked out the "Chris Ferguson Challenge"? Definitely good reading for anyone looking to start from scratch!
Just remember, like everything else in life, getting better at something requires STUDY! Read as much as you can, study as much as you can!
