I think I need a more restraint in my game. I'm using the DD Poker 3 calculator to calculate my hand percentage before flops and after a flop. Its helped me make best quite a bit as I keep learning the odds.

My biggest mistake is not reading other players. For example, I would flop top pair but I'd call any of the opponents bets. Even though by the river I've got high card, I'd still call a .32c bet from a player (in a pot of maybe .20c). Even though the opponent needed at least two cards to make a straight, well, he had it.

I ended up loosing 40c tonight from $2. Better then loosing $10 on the weekend.

Calculating the odds did improve my game, but I really gotta learn to read players better.

I gotta use restraint and not bet intentionally when I know I have a hand but my opponents bets/raises into me crazy.
