    Default Rolled?

I have about 25 buy ins for NL50 at the moment which imo isn't fully rolled but just about rolled. Thing is I'm not actually feeling comfortable playing at that stake yet.

Should I carry on playing at NL10 and NL25? I'm not even happy with my play at NL10 yet although I do grind out profits.

Also, if I play about another 10k@nl10 and nl25 each and post my stats on here do you guys think you could take a look at it for me and see if I have any substantial leaks?

Another thing, I'm about to clear my bonus so I will withdraw my br from FTP and moving to another site. What do you guys think of Fortune Poker? Are the games soft? Or any others that are compatible with pt3 and a decent rakeback deal that you could recommend?

I'm not sure if 25BI is enough for heads up, but it is enough for 6max. Personally I would move back down at 15BI.

Posting hands is probably better than stats.

This is the main reason you should stay at the lower level.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R

KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

You would need more of a bank roll than 25 buyins, though it really depends on your ROI as well.
Fortune Poker isn't a great room in my opinion. There isn't much available in terms of full ring games, and tables and lobby are reeeall slow to open/update for some reason.

There are definitely much better options out there...

+1. This is the biggest issue when deciding to move up or not imo. If you feel comfortable losing your whole roll then 1 buyin is all you need

Stay at 25nl until you get 30-35 buyins and then maybe take a shot if you feel up for it. While some people say "20 buyins is fine to move up", it really depends on your mindset. I like to have 40ish buyins, it's up to you.

When you think you're playing well, have a little go at 50nl but there's no point in rushing.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

theres no rule to say that you MUST move up to the next level once you hit the theoretical required bankroll for that level. Stay where you are until you're 100% comfortable in taking stabs at higher levels.

Playing massively overrolled is something that I have always done and I've only ever moved between levels when I felt like I was playing well or that the games were good.

    Default Moving up

    Hey

To be honest with you I find moving upin stakes a lot like a new pair of shoes. You know you like the shoes, you want the shoes, you can affoard the shoes but when you get them, you have to wear them in.

Whenever you first move up it will feel uncomfortable at first and given time you'll get used to it and stop worrying about the money.

One thing I do when I first move up to to table select like a nit, I only sit and play with horrible players on my right and when the tables looks bad, I move straight away. So go and do a litlle bum hunting, it'll help in the transition more than how many buy ins you have.

To be honest I started with $200 and moved up everytime I had 20buyins for the next level and was playing 2/4NL in only a few months, just remember to seek out the bad players.

If you want to know the secret to finding the worst players at NL50 (6 max) in a matter of seconds then send me a PM.

    Good Luck

    Hey guys

I actually did get people PMing me wanting to know the secret so rather than keep PMing me I'll just share it with you.

Basically good players keep their stacks topped up, bad or uneducated players don't!

It's so simple it's unture, I used to spend hours analyzing tables and buying software that tracks games, had buddy list, etc, etc when actually this was all I had to do.

Check out exactly how I'm finding the players and where I want them in this video Table Selection Video

Let me know what you think and if this helped you.

Which I kind of don't like as it makes it hard to know how far up or down I am on the session. I do understand the logic however.

I've actually been thinking a lot more about table selection since I've switched levels. NL2 I just went with a high "% Players who saw flop", the higher the better and then I would try and sit with the guy with the biggest stack to my right.

Along comes NL5 which apparently has way more people playing it as it can be difficult to quickly find the number of tables I want. People also seem to play tighter as the "% Players who saw flop" numbers are significantly lower.

I had been finding the tables with the high % and joining the waiting list, which usually had a few people ahead of me. But then I realized that those 2-3 people waiting ahead of me are probably waiting for the same reason I am, they think the table is fishy. However that's terrible for me because by the time I get to the front of the line all the fish have been taken out and replaced by better players.

My new plan is to sit at empty tables and let the fish come to me, then when the table fills up with tight players to leave and start another one.

Your video gives me an alternative though that I will certainly be trying out.
