I need a teacher/coach. I'm willing to split earning 20/80 for as long as I'm being taught. I play on cake poker, I have some serious holes in my game but I'm hardly a bad player, imo. Although I might not be playing at high enough levels yet, just let me know what you think.

I don't have a stat converter. I'm thinking about buying one but i don't really feel like dropping 90 on the pokertracker.com one. Though, today I will download the 90 free trail and see how much it helps. Also, I play at low limits .2/.4 to .10/.20 (depending on how I feel.) I only play NLHE for now, I was told to focus on only one game type when trying to progress because learning the others could mess me up and confuse me. Also I was wondering if anyone trust or has used the site poker-edge.com. Thanks, adios.

i use poker-edge.com. it's pretty helpful. obviously don't count on it 100% because your own instinct is probably more times right than the software. the good thing about poker-edge is that you can use it free. just go to their site and type in everyone's name.

A coach is all well and good but I would reccomend spending money on a site like Stoxpoker.com or Cardunners.com.
These guys have great low stakes videos. When i started to learn I watch a hand play and thought "what would I do"? then if the hand played differntly, I tried to understand why, then I listen to what the instructor says and finally I made sick amounts of notes..
After a couple of months with that, I got Poker tacker, when you know how to use the stats, it will pay for it's self, but if a 23/19/3.5 player sounds like japenese to you, the 90 day trial may be a waste of time. Again the training sites will help you so don't panic.
The fact that you are seeking help is a great start, I only wonder what quality of coach you'll find for 20% profits of a NL10 game?? where as these sites will teach and help you regardless of level!
Also try posting hands that you have trouble with and try to understand why people do what they do.
Then make sure you have Rakeback, you should with cake. The rest should come with experience.
