Default Question regarding type of game to play

Hey everyone, been reading the forums for a bit now and decided I would throw out a question and get some advice. I went to the local casino this week and our table got into an interesting discussion about whether it was better to play a limit hold em game or a spread limit. i live in MN and we can't do NL. :-( Anyways, I've always like the spread game better, $2-$10 with blinds $1/$2. There were those saying that a $3/$6 limit game was better because with the passive play the pots were usually bigger. Just curious what everyones thoughts were. I do better at the spread limits, but I'm wondering if I should consider playing more limit and improving my game there.

In my experience, spread limit games play just like a limit game at the top of the spread. I once played in a $1-$5 spread limit stud game and everyone raised $5 every time anyway.

You should play what you make the most profit at. There's nothing wrong with trying out the spread limit to see if you like it and/or are good at it.

I personally chose to focus on Omaha hi/lo limit games when I went pro, because it had a lower bankroll requirement and a higher bb/hr compared with a limit hold em player.

Then I spread from there, focusing on being a strong mixed cash-game player (O8, Stud8, Razz, Badugi, 2-7 Triple Draw, etc)
