Maybe a cheater who doesnt want the rest of us to know.

I imagine it's getting harder to cheat/collude for the good sites like PS, with the monitoring they do and the confiscations they've made, but it likely happens a bit. G2G and other sites that dont give a rats ass, probably all the time.

From my experience it rarely happens. Doesn't hurt though to check locations of players, watch out for chip dumping etc.

When i first started playing poker i accidentally cheated a few times. Well, not accidentally, i cheated. My friend would be on the same table and i'd tell him what i had and he would tell me... only did it a few times then we both stopped because i realised it was unfair.

I know a good few people who still do it though.

Now that bots are in full effect.. we will only see more cheaters. Thank goodness AI still has yet to find real intelligence.

Actually I've seen cheating by far more often in online games than in live games...this seems rather weird, at least to me

I read an article the other week about how bots are more prominent in online poker than people think. When bots start working together in tournaments to make money - then it'll be goodbye to online poker.

As far as I know non of the poker rooms are even putting enough preventative measures to stop these bots. The bots are only going to get better as well.

Perhaps Yahoo! Poker using flash instead of a downloadable software will beable to stop the interaction of the bot on the clients computer?

Why would you vote no? Just because you haven't done it, doesn't mean others haven't either.
