Buy into a really high limit and go all in with your first big hand.

just stop playing as soon as you start to feel you are tilting. just tell yourself you will have losing days and its part of the game. dont think you have to end at least even. think of poker as just one big game, you can come back any time, just make sure you come back rested, relaxed, and you are going to play well.

For a serious answer what he said ^.
I also try to remeber how great i felt after my big MTT scores, that always seems to help.

I had a big problem with this when i first started. I would have a couple of bad beats and then just play crazy afterwards and end up losing quite a few chips.
One of my best mates who is extremely good at poker then taught me how important one's state of mind is before and during poker, something which i hadn't paid too much attention too.
Now I make sure i'm properly prepared to "enter battle" before i play and I can accept bad beats now, especially if i made the right play. I also make sure that i don't play for too long at each session so i'm performing at my optimum level when i'm at the tables.
I keep seeing Marm going on about this zen book, which i think addresses these issues, so i'm probably going to get that next, as i think the state of mind is one of the most important factors whilst playing poker.

Also, whenever you lose, double up your bankroll and move to higher stakes. Do this until you get your initial investment back.
