Default going to try this

Just thought i'd try this, just wondered if people thought that it's possibly workable orjust a silly idea.

Play 2-3 tables, always have 20xbb at each.

start off on .25/.5 if i double up on a table, i shall move up a level and so on. If at table i lose more than a quarter of my chips then i move down again and start with 20 BB at that table, banking the rest.

Just thought i'd give this a try out. I knew someone that did it, and said that on somedays (very lucky ones) he would got up to a couple of thousand.

just womndered what your thoughts were.

Not sure about the term.

Didn't think it would be that risky though. My bankroll on pacific poker(the site i want to try it on) is just over 200. Could you elaborate please, as perhaps there are things tha i haven't thought of??

That mean when you lose 5 BB you drop of one level ?
5 BB.... what do you expect to do with 5 BB anyway ? Nothing.
In a full-handed game(9p), that mean after 18 hands you already spent 3 BB just to survive without even playing a hand.

What you want to do, push with AA,KK,AK ?

20 BB is about the price it might cost to play a decent hand.

With only 20 BB you will be constantly pushed all-in.

1$/2$ with 40 $.... man what are you going to do with that ?

I totally dislike the idea.

What you can do is join a table with 20 BB, play ultra tight and push all-in pf with a monster, hope to double, leave and join another table buy-in 20BB, and on and on

I dont get the point of playing with 20bb in limit anyway.
I consider the buy-in being much less important in limit than nl.

I usually buy in with about 20bb, but his point that in limit it's irrelivant as long as you have more than 12BB.
