I currently doin a loose version of the jesus method - buy in with 5% of my roll and leave when I've doubled up. Unless the table is pretty fishy, then I'll stick around for a bit longer. So youd buy in with 5-6 bux and leave after you hit 10-12. Seems to work for me.

5% of my bank is 10bux, so I can buy into the .1/.25 shortstacked. I dont see a problem.

I also agree with AT.

playing w/ 5% is not the issue. the issue is; shortstack play has higher varience (correct me if im talking out of ass), so you would need more than 20BI, maybe 30-35 imo.

still, to each each his own. as you can see when i began playing, my BR management was bad. (still is btw, just overrolled instead of under)

Well that way I see it is, since Im buyin in with 5% (not just $10) its hard to go broke, if I drop to 180 I start buying in with 9 and prolly drop to the .05/.1 tables... etc. As long as I drop limits if I take a big hit, I should be fine.

IMO you dont wanna be in positions where you have to move down in satkes. when you move down you may lose focus, confidence etc...

so if you bust 3 times unlucky suckouts you might move down, and spend 2x as much effort/time to get the same results @10nl that you would @ 25nl.
