Default AK suited vs AA

So I had AK suited and I bet 3 x bb. Then a lady goes all-in. I don't think
she likes me so she might be trying to kill me but I have AK suited so I'm pretty sure I'm going to call.

After I tick the Call checkbox I think this "If she has AA will she win?" I can
make a straight, a flush, or three kings. But if an A falls I'm dead.
Should I call with AK suited against AA?

If you were sure you were up against AA then its an easy fold in my opinion.

Well, how about this: If I have AK in my hand and she has AA in her hand, that means there is only 1 card in the deck that she can win with, the remaining A. (And if I don't make anything better than a pair)

Her, 1 out, me, more than that. Altho, on tv any pair has better odds than AK suited. I asked a question a long time ago about going all-in anytime you have a pair but that's a different question. This one is about AKs vs AA

Some people don't like my smiley frog avatar. It gets on their nerves. lol. Girls like it tho.

P.S. Does anyone know the odds of any pair beating any two random cards?
P.S.2. Oh, I won the hand. She had a pair of JJ and I paired my K on the flop.

to win you must make trips k's (very unlikely) or a straight or a flush. Do you realy think one of these 3 do happen more then not?

AA is a huge favorite above any other hand. HUGE. But I wouldn't put her on AA though!. QQ or less is most likely. which is still a favorite above your hand. 3Xbb means to mos't people A(JQK) so they figure lets go allin to see if he calls, when he does I stil have a good chance of winning, when he doesnt thats even better.

I dont know the odds of any random pair beating any random cards but I do know that any random pair is a huge favorite since it's already a made hand.

AA beats AKs 87.9 percent of time
AKs beats AA 12.1 percent of time

where's the split pot chance?!

but yeh, if u knew she had AA then u fold. AK suited is V hard to get away from preflop, the only way i would fold it was if i was confident that they had AA or KK or if there were tonnes of ppl in the pot that i was only a small favourite to win even if they didnt have pockets.

what were the blinds. cash/tournament. players left. payouts. how much money did she have. how much did you have. pot odds?

etc etc etc

what made you think she had AA? think about all of the likley hands she can push with. obviously its pretty hard to give her credit for AA, you have one of the A's, and AA is an unlikley hand. give her a "push range" all of the possible hands you think she would push with. then compare your AK to ALLLL of those hands, not just AA

for instance, if shes pushing with any 2 cards, insta call with AK, regardless of pot size, blinds, etc. however, if you think she makes that play with QQ, KK, and AA, its probably a fold, but might be a call depending on the situation.

tell us the situation and we can give you ALOT better of an answer.
