Default Do you make faces when you play poker?

Should I be practicing my stone face killer look here at home or is it okay to grimace and smile?

When can I act like I'm having fun?

Man, I stand up and scream at the computer, win or lose. Some days I need to clsoe the windows or else the neighbors start to stare.

I'm usually stone faced but that's just my nature.

When I win I pump my fists and say "Ship It!"

When I lose I swivel the chair around to the table behind me, grab my seltzer, take a drink and say softly "motherfuckers".

I make faces all the time when I play poker. And each time I do it I get happy that itīs only online. Thatīs exactly what I appreciate abt playing online. One can wear sleepers and bunny-ears, cursing and what not, and nobody will say a word.

Ironically, I tend to model my play after Mr. White...One cool customer. I tend to "practice" my game face while I'm playing online but that's more for my own (and sometimes my wifes) amusement. If I'm not in a hand I tend to be animated and able to hold a conversation, but once I get involved, I tend to concentrate and think through each move...I also keep 6-8 chips on my desk and practice shuffling them while I'm playing. Somehow having actual chips in front of me while I play tends to help my concentration. It also gives my hands something to do other then hit the call button when I know I shouldn't...

When I play IRL, I tend to act the same way. I don't mind being a friendly guy between hands and what not, but when in a hand, I try to act the same way each hand...Not sure if I succeed or not, have to ask the guys I play with...
