Default Preflop play pocket 2's

Ok a question for ya'll. I was playing in a tourney, winner takes all, 4 players left. Blinds are 2-4 its NL hold'em. I’m down to 25 chips (avg player had 75 left). I get pocket 2's. I raised 5 preflop, got reraised 2, the other 2 ppl folded. I reraised all in, was called and he beat me (he had A9s got two 9's on the flop). I was pretty sure he would call me. Did I play this hand correctly or not? Thanks in advance for your opinions (feel free to cuss me out here). I was acting after the other guy (he was sb).

Bah raised to 5 with 2/4 blinds? Are we trying to get called? Pocket pair, UTG , 7 bb's left, easy answer, we push right here. Maybe you raised to 9, either way, that begs for a call. In fact, you have to raise to 9 since the smallest minimum raise is 4. You could raise to ten, but not 5 or 7, or anything less than 8.

Then they raise it 2 more? We got retards running this thing or do we need to move this to the newbie section?

To answer your question, you played this horribly. You don't have a stack left to be dancing around, you need to put all your money in early. Survival is not an option in a winner take all, you need chips to be the last person standing.

And I'm not usually this harsh, but you said feel free.

Could ya explain a bit more what youre saying? (btw we were playing that the min raise was the sb, 2 in this case). How should I have played it and also was my all in reraise justified. Thanks in advance and thanks for being brutal..... It will only get the message to my thick head faster Oh and when I said 'raised 5' I meant that i made it to 9 not to 5 (a raise of 5 not a raise of 1).
