I start worrying when I'm down to 15 BBs or so later on. In the early stages I like to be up around 35-40 (or better if I'm lucky) and then tighten up and slowly increase.

id say 10 or under.

10 you start to worry.

5 and under is too late.

Somewhere between 10 and 5 is the danger zone.

10 or less, is usually when I go into push or fold mode.

It depends on if you are into the antes or not. If no antes, I'll wait until 7 or 8bb until I'm at all-in or fold. With antes it's more like 10.

I start worrying at 30 blinds. I'm starting to think ahead here and see whos left at my table, and what they are going to do, I'm starting to adjust my play to them if they had to adjust too. 10-20 is the make or break range. I'm less concerned about other players as I am my hands now. Sub 10 is the desperate range.

a lot depends on the average stack.

If average stack is 10bbs, I feel ok at 20, if average stack is 100bbs, I feel pretty crappy at 40.
