the theory is supposedly to eliminate "predatory players" from using tracking software to find weaker players and beat them out of their money. the anonymous tables are flawed though. preventing tracking software may be true but "predatory players" can still play and find weaker players at the tables by their actions. now, i am not here to claim to be a good/bad, profitable or losing player. i am simple giving my opinion(and from looking at bodogs' facebook page) and the majority of bodogs' players opinions about this update. it is horrible and has ruined their site. it is no longer poker, it is now generic and feels like a bad video poker game. i played bodog for over 10 years and average 4+ hours a day. i love playing poker and bodog has taken the enjoyment out of playing. i want to know who i'm playing(good or bad). i know there are better players than me and could avoid them if i chose to. now, i don't know who is who. now, the better players are invisible. so their theory of protecting recreational players is completly wrong. knowing players or seeing knew players and learning their styles and then adjusting your play is what poker is all about. i mean is your gonna play against a phil ivey, wouldn't you want to know it? bodog also clearly stated that they don't mind losing the better players because they take withdrawels. their term "recreational player" is wrong, what they mean is "losing player". bodog only wants a site full of people that make deposits. i am a recreational player but after a few losing years of learning the game the hard way, i no longer make deposits. but bodog still profits from my buy-ins and rake. to end, i am disguisted with the way bodog is treating their loyal customers and totally turned off to playing poker at an anonymous table. i am moving on to other sites but am not happy about being forced out of my "home" of years. play for any length of time and you will see that anonymous tables have and will destroy online poker. bodog has been receiving a huge amount of complaints but refuse to listen to their customers and admit they are wrong. so i look forward to watching bodog lose their customers.

-
June 17th, 2012 #2
Bodog use to be my favorite poker room before they introduced anonymous tables, and said that they only want recreational players.
