I got a couple gold stacks and chips on cake. I've read all their help files, but I still can't figure out what they are used for. Anybody?

Still don't understand it.
I think I get tourny entries or cash? >:|
I know I'm retarded and all, but it should be a little obvious how their system works. Those help pages just seem to be filled with non specific hype.Luck is a Residue of Design.

I used them to enter gold-chip tournaments if I remember correctly . Did nothing with the gold cards , some combination is required for a bonus but I never played enough cake to get there .

It's just a complicated method to confuse most players and force to think that these promotions are better than other sites' promotions
. If I remember well, you can buy a lot of things from gold chimps and from gold cards. You can also achieve rakeback with these goldthings.

You used to be able to use them for tourneys and such at least you could on Doylesroom. I used a bunch in those Quad for Cash stt. It would be a 10 chip entry fee (or more depending on the tourney) you would only have to finish in the top 5 and you would win 5 bucks. I think I finished in the money every time I played one, it was easy money. With DR leaving CakePoker I lost over 100 Gold coins, a couple of stacks and around 120 Gold Cards. I'm not sure how the other sites at Cake worked but I'm pretty sure it was the same. Be careful the rumors in the industry are that the Cake Network is in trouble...good luck
