Hello all,
I am sorry because I am sure that this has probably been discussed numerous times before, but I wanted to ask everyone how they felt about providing their SSN's to Pokerstars for eCheck deposits. I have already done it after being very unsure and regretted it as soon as I did it. How safe am I really? I've read posts by others on other sites who were very carefree about it and others who advised instantly to register with a site such as lifelock so that you can monitor the safety of your identity. Even though I e-mailed pokerstars a short time after asking for them to delete my SSN from their database, which they informed me they did in a quickly sent back e-mail, the whole issue has been worrying me ever since. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that I won't wake up tomorrow with a destroyed credit score because someone stole my identity. Thanks everyone.

I've been playing on Pokerstars for the last year and I haven't had problems with identity theft.

It is fairly standard in the industry. Pokerstars is a reputable company based in the UK (Isle of Man) and I feel fine giving them my information.
