I played in a freeroll this morning and didn't do so hot. Here are three, what I preceive to be key hands. Remember, I am Phoenix7 in the HH. All thoughts appreciated.
This is the first, well second hand I played. The first hand I got to see a free flop with 9-5 rags and checked till the showdown and won 50 chips, but this is the hand I been waiting for! I go all-in and miss the board BIG!

Freeroll analysis

Hand 1 - Considering it being a freeroll and Reap's stack size, it is fine.
Hand 2 - Your stacksize and positioning makes this hand a bit ackward. I probably just limp behind here since you're getting decent set odds and freetrolls will always pay up.
Shoving isn't great here as you'll be behind quite often when called and the blinds aren't going to add a lot to your current stack.
Standard raising I think commits you with a weakish hand out of position
Hand 3 - Without reads I'd fold, if you have postflop fold equity standard raising and shoving flop might be okay.
Considering it's a freeroll, you can probably shove, but same as in hand above, expect to be flipping a lot and behind some.
Hand 4 - Stack sizes and reads effect the decision making process, without at least stack sizes I can't give you an informed opinion.

My thinking was:
Hand 1: Shove to double-up. It was a snap move. I knew I was behind when she flipped over JJ, but hoped to hit an A or K. Obviously, I didn't hit. The cards weren't there.
Hand 2: I may have been tilted and not even realized it. I didn't take my position into account. I should have. I saw 88 though and had just calculated 13BBs and thought shove.
Hand 3: Shove to double-up and survive.
Hand 4: Shove to double. I was 95% dead by then. So, i t doesn't really matter.
Is it too corny to believe the cards just weren't there? I mean, that river on hand four was whack.

Push/fold doesn't really come into effect until <10BB's. This also means if the blinds are <10BB's, you can still shove/fold despite your stacksize.
9BB's isn't terrible, I don't really start getting worried until <6BB's. Your focus shouldn't alone be "doubling up" but making the most +ev action you can, and this is what separates big winners from marginal winners.
Note, I'm asking for stacksizes because it effects your opponents decision making process, which needs to be taken into account.

That is the second to last hand where stack size is displayed. The software I use doesn't display stacksize on the very last hand history.

What do you mean by +ev by the way? Is that like AK versus Q10s wins 60% to 40% ?
