and they have finally locked US players out of AP/UB. I'm glad I got the extra month to add a nice amount of profit to my stack with a few FT cashes in MTTs, and of course running like a champ in SNGs. I'm going to miss AP. She has been hella good to me for the past year. Thanks to a buddy of mine I was already able to get $300 bucks off my AP account a couple weeks ago. Now once they let US players cash out I'll have a pretty nice payday coming my way.

You mean pretending to live overseas and you're really playing from USA? That sounds like trouble. Besides, you'd never be able to cash out unless you move to Glasgow for a week or whatever.
I wonder if the Government monitors these forums? If so, they probably think were conniving weirdos.

VNC's to play poker is dumb, setting it up to play is only half the problem, someone stealing your money is certainly another problem. Have fun trying to get your cash. One "oopsie" in connecting revealing you're from the US mean POOF, all your money gone.

There are pros and cons to playing poker online vs playing poker in a casino. However for the beginner poker player, playing poker online can be a lot more profitable for a number of reasons.
1. Playing Online Is Cheaper
For one, the cost is much less. You don’t have to worry about travel time and expenses, tips for the waitresses, food, parking, bigger rake structures, forking out an hourly charge in addition to rake or waiting to get a table. Saving money wherever you can when first getting started is crucial, the more you save the more money can be added to your poker bankroll.
2. See More Hands Per Hour
In live play and with optimal conditions (players acting quickly and a strong dealer) you would get to play about 30 hands an hour. Online, you can play anywhere from 60-80 hands an hour. When that is projected out over a month, while playing 30-40 hours a week, that is a massive, massive difference. Also, because you are seeing so many more hands per hour by playing online, you will gain experience so much faster.
3. Good Table Selection
Table Section is much better online. If you sit down at an online game and discover all the players are good, you can instantly switch tables. At the casino, it is much harder to do this so you can be stuck in a live game full of good players. Also, if you win big quickly online, you can leave straight away and play at another table. That is something you would not do in a live game. Also, you don’t have to wait for a table when playing online, there are always games to play in.
