Tried some live/homegames, they sucked. Was going to give up on poker, then I realized my life is really dull without it. Gonna make a go at it at NBB poker, hopefully I can secure me some rakeback.
What's everyone else doing?

Still playing on AP for now. Why? I have no idea. It's pretty dead. Plan on playing more live and maybe giving Carbon poker a shot.

Good Luck IPG. I haven't been following the news on AP at all, but it has to be better than NBB's peak of 1200 players

Wait, you live in US and you are playing on AP??! how is that possible? My computer can't even establish a connection....
But to answer the original post... I'm going crazy!!! I go to the casino now all the time, but i hate having to risk $200 at a cash table just to make another $200 or $400 bucks... I miss being able to play 7 tourneys at once for a total of only risking like $150 and have the potential to make thousands!!! IT SUCKS!
but anyway, being that i have a MAC, i tried downloading all sorts of software but the only one that worked is CARBON poker, but that won't accept my VISA card...
So i have a stupid lil Verizon Wireless PC that i used to download DOYLESROOM. Not exactly the tourneys i was lookin for... so i played a bit of cash table. not very thrilling. Not nearly as fun as TILT and STARS and AP for that matter. I played all 3. and loved every minute of it.
Now, like you said, life is just dull
(which is kinda embarrassing for me to say considering i have a 7 month old and a wife....) but, yeah, online poker was i guess you could say my passion and it was stripped from me like candy from a baby. SO SICK. worst bad beat ever....

AP is still letting me play, and yes, I live in Texas. PS and FT won't allow me to play though.

AP didn't ban any US players. They just made it to where US players can't deposit, withdrawal, or transfer money. Try going to their new site are see if it lets you update the software.

I'm playing Doylesroom from Utah. The software sucks and the selection is weak, but they are getting new software on May 1st and I think alot of U.S players will end up there.

I was going to try playing on Lock Poker, then I downloaded the software and realized Lock Poker = Carbon Poker. I hate how all the SNG tables have strange names. Makes it harder to find the SNG you're looking for, IMO. Might still give it a try if they let me deposit. Who knows. I need to find somewhere to play pretty quick though. Or I'm really going to miss my extra money from online poker.
