    Default I've been converted

I've played online poker for about 5 years now...at first on Party Poker but the majority of my time has been spent on Full Tilt. For the longest time, I was very much AGAINST the online poker conspiracy theories that claim it's "rigged."

I still don't believe it's as rigged as most people claim, however I think I've collected enough evidence to suspect that it leans in an unfavorable direction.

I collected some data over the past three days, playing an average of 4 hours per day.

Note: I only tracked hands that were played out in there entirety...all the way through the river.

In hands where I was statistically favored preflop, I lost 70% of the time.

In hands where I was statistically favored after the flop, I lost 62% of the time.

And in hands where I was statistically favored after the turn, I lost 44% of the time.

This data was taken from Full Tilt. Maybe it's not as suspect to you as it was to me, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Wow... a whole 3 days.... for a whole 12 hours....

    Must be rigged.

Oh wait.... just eyeballing those numbers, they look like they are well within normal variance for a session.

Post this in the conspiracy corner next time would ya?
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

    I put in 4 hours Today. 6 tables/ about 2K hands

    In that time:

    Got quads once
    Ran into quads twice
Rivered Ace high flush and lost to straight flush
Made a Royal flush! (first time for me)

Must be rigged... but seriously um i wouldn't consider anything under 20K hands to be a good set of hands.

    talking about getting hands...
    I rarely get straight flushes,qauds,full houses,royal flush(once ever)...
could this be because im not seeing most hands down to the river on cash games ??
all though i see most sng/tourny hands down to river, does that not mean the variance is more and so i should see more less likely hands ?

could be so stupid at the minute, but its early and i am inquizative ...

Man... people who can't wrap their heads around the concept of variance should not be allowed to play poker.

There are some variance in online games so its natural to have some little difference in winnings. Its better than going actual where you may win big but you may also loss big amount of money that would lead to bankruptcy.

Everyone who complains about sites being rigged by definition can't wrap thier head around variance. And, they are usually playing too high for their BR anyhow, otherwise they'd laugh it off and realize that bad players still exist, and they are going to win sometimes.
