Hi, I have played a little on party poker, I deposited my funds in £,
all the games were in $ so my money was getting converted into $ every time i played
would it be possible for me to deposit my funds in usd$ and only get it converted once when i cash out instead of it always getting converted each time i play) at a site like full tilt poker or pokerstars even though i am a U.K. player?
thanks very much

Looks likes pokerstars allows you to convert your currency upon demand. FAQ About Multi Currency Poker Account and Game Questions
Fulltilt looks like it converts to $ upon deposit, and converts back to £ upon withdraw. This is done automatically through moneybrookers.
Looks like either option will suit you. If you haven't got an account yet on Fulltilt, make SURE you get a rakeback provider.

Fulltilt, like all sites, have rake they take from the game.
Affiliates of the poker site make money from the site for getting you to join fulltilt. Some of these affiliates will give you back a good % of the money they made, from your rake paid BACK to you. This can increase your profits quite a bit.
Other affiliates will be happy to take ALL of the money from your rake paid, and never give you a single cent back. Which can add up to a lot of money over time, that could've been yours!
Before you ask, I can't point you in any direction for a good affiliate, as I made the mistake of not getting rakeback

Not all sites offer rakeback, and often the use it as an incentive to join, so usually it's a one chance deal. You should try to get rakeback from a reputable provider with ALL the sites you play at, but since you already play at partypoker you probably can't get rakeback there.

I play mostly at Pokerstars, but I've played at fulltilt too. Both are pretty good, take a look at both and pick which appeals to you the best.
FWIW, I think pokerstars has a better interface, but I've often heard the games on fulltilt are much more profitable.

I love playing at FT and Pstars. For me, they are better compare to others.
