    Default Ideal Flop Seen Percentage

Just wondering what you guys think is an ideal flop seen percentage, I've been beginning to think that mine is too low. I usually see between 10 and 15% of flops.

I would assume that's decent. That's pretty standard for microstakes, since you don't really need to play a lot of hands to be profitable.

Edit:Marm asks good questions, assumed it was fullring, my bad

    What game? etc etc.

And dont look at Flops seen, look for VPiP. Course you need a tracker for that.

But unless your playing 12-14 handed, I think that's too tight.... but again, I duno what game your playing, and flops seen is a very misleading stat.

i play a lot of low (.25/.50 sb/bb - 1/2 sb/bb) stakes 6 handed cash games, but it would also be useful to know what a good vpip for 9 handed games in that stake area would be.

Going to assume NLH, as that was the point of asking what game.... 10%-15% Flops seen is considered tight in a 12 player game. For a 6 player game, and excuse my french, you are getting fucking run over. Loosen up and be more aggressive. 6 max games were made up for the loose gamblers of the game. Take your game to 10 max and you will clean up though. You'd very easily be able to 10 table those limits and you'd make a fortune.

i apologize for my noobish inability to clarify what games i'm playing, but thank you for the advice. i definitely felt i was playing too tight 6 handed, and that that was a leak in my overall poker game. i'll play more aggressive poker on the 6 handed tables from now on.

Actually, I'd recommend taking your game to a 10 max table, play 4 of them, and open up jsut slightly. No reason to make a major shift in your game when you can just shift the game your playing.
