Then you are just the most lucky mother fuckers on the site. I hadn't played in weeks and tonight (for the first time in forever) I went 0-4 on all in 50/50s and consistently lost 75% odds (all inpreflop). The last one was the best....

There is no skill involved in super turbos, it's just a big gambling shove-a-thon

WOW this is the most FALSE statement i have EVER seen in a forum... you can crush long term, you OBV have leaks in your game (not attacking you) but if you get it in 75% favorite that much, than your the luckiest card rack i have ever heard of... also, you see SO many more hands, so yes, more bad beats will happen, but LONG TERM, something is not adding up... please pm me your stats, i really would like to go over some HH with you or have a sweat session to see if you truly get it in THAT good THAT often... for some reason i think your telling a bit of a tall tale here, i do the same, so as i said, not attacking, but honestly, if you got it in 75% fav everytime, live, online, anywhere, you would be a winner over 5 yrs, so the times you get it in bad must completely out weigh the times you get it in THAT good if your losing.... only reason i would like some HH, just to see if you have leaks that we could help you with... i hope your ego takes this post acceptingly and not defensively, i honestly am trying to help and just giving it straight foreward...

LOL THIS IS YOUR EXAMPLE!!!!!!!!!! this is so standard when playing a bunch... wow you base your argument on ONE bad beat, i REALLY want to see your last 10k hands and i PROMISE i could find leaks... you get it in good in the example, but you must get it in bad A TON if your not a winner and you ONLY get it in in spots like this....

i totally disagree, you can play ONE single table 30 hours a week every week and CRUSH poker, THE KEY IS PROPER BANKROLL MANAGEMENT... variance if inevitable... people start with a few hundred and play .25/.50 cent ALL THE TIME and wonder why they go broke "when they are the best at the table" if you follow PROPER bankroll management, you can be a complete part time player, even 10 hrs a week, it just will take longer to show a nice profit, but if you use proper bankroll management and allow yourself to play at a level where you can avoid 30 buy in swings wiping you out, AND your a skilled player, anyone can certainly win at poker... for example, i used to put 200 in and look for fish in hu plo and wonder why i kept going broke.... plo is such a sicko game and 200 against even the worst fish is NEVER gonna make you a long term winner, but now that i play levels where i could be playing higher and STILL be using proper BRM, i am CRUSHING the game, which is why i do not want to move up to the level where my bankroll lets me, i look at it that if
i am crushing the limit i play, why move up? when i have a sicko downswing, i am STILL rolled for the same limit and know that variance will kick in and the upswing is right around the corner, and from my experience, if you are a skilled player, you will have more winning swings than losing, but you HAVE to let yourself have enough money to handle downswings, WHICH I THINK IS THE NUMBER ONE MISTAKE in poker players today....

It sounds like alot of the players in this thread are tilting! It certainly is possible to profit from online poker in the long run. I wrote a little article on controlling the tilt. might be a good read for some people here.

Sweeper can be a bit volatile, but he's been allright lately. No need to bring up old feelings.
Thread locked unless for some reason sweeper wants me to unlock it
