I have been doing some challenges to earn points for free tourn tckets. But I have many challenges are super conditional... and can take thousands of hands to hit the right cards in the right position with the necessary opponents action to fufill the requirements.

What are your thoughts... are the challenges worth the reward?

What you say is true, it can really take thousands of hands, though many people do play thousands of hands each day.

As far as the challenges being worth the reward. If these are situations that will eventually occur, why not? Focus most on playing your best and let the challenges happen when they will.

At one time I was doing a challenge where 1 task was to open fold weak suited aces 5-times. I went 4K hands before I was dealt weak suited aces 5x without someone raising or limping infront of me. I thought that was a little ridiculous.

BTW on full tilt can you trade tourn tickets at all?

I am struggling with BRM challenge. Grow BR by 25%. I play far below my BR. Also I have broke even over the last 20K hands. I tried to "park" money in a tournament and then unregister.. but the site was too smart for that. Any suggestions?

No suggestions really, besides having A LOT a bit of patience. LOL at trying to "cheat" though, guess you'll just have to make more money the old fashioned way.

I don't see any options to trade tourney tickets.

Stick to live poker where you know it's legit and random cards. This is designed to make FT money....not any of us. Keep on playing and losing 4 out of 5 of your AK to lower aces....and losing 1 of 2 of your higher pocket pairs to a lower one.

Personally I like to play on Fulltiltpoker.com and I've started learning poker from their Poker Academy. So I consider it very effective way for start up. Of course you don't need to stay there for a long time Playing for the real money will increase your poker level very fast (and may be decrease your first deposit hehe )

Good luck and Happy New Year to all!
