So weird how you lose forever and ever during the cold streaks. Always in with best hand and lose long streaks. Never placing in sngs for long streches. But yet never win long streaks like the ones you lose on!! Really weird how they control profit and build that player base. Someone will columbine some stars one day

poker stars the slot machine

A lot of hate for starz on here lately. Seems like a few people want to or wish someone would go over there and kill everyone.

Lol it's funny, I think Pstars almost always cracks my aces... I never feel like a favorite with them! I had a run grinding SNG's DON, when my aces got straight bamboozled like 9 times in a row, about half of them were heads up post flop pushes after big raise, some dude always hits a set or gets some weird straight on the river lol.
I played for about 4 hours tonight... and it was very flustering... and don't get me started on kings, I've never seen so many pushes resulting in a dude showing aces
... But I am newbie still too, so perhaps I am just not used to multi tabling yet and how random shit can be?

You mean in general? Or in Pokerstars? Because I don't believe that Pokerstars is rigged, at least that wouldn't make sense. I'd much rather believe people playing marginal hands are going to have runs of luck on me... Hell everytime I lose with aces or kings to bad hands I love it, that one guy that won and the 7-8 people onlooking are more likely to play terrible in those situations just as that dude did.
I'm starting to see the humor in some of these beats statistically, I mean last night I picked up Kings, and the J4suited guy beat me (flush), VERY next hand, I get kings again and the SAME guy, played a J-9 (I was near broke in this tournament now after doubling him) calls and hits a straight!
I mean, if you think Pokerstars is rigged you be tripping... However I will concede that you see the full range of goofiness while playing stars (and any online poker site really)... Christ I saw pocket aces/kings/queens/jacks/tens, same hand... almost like that youtube video. Jack guy won the hand at that point
... My point, play within your bankroll (something I now understand and have been more happily playing the game and unlocking my bonuses on my account) and laugh off the pokerstars entertaining bad beats... laugh em' off and move forward!

I have been playing PS for a long time and have made a living at it, but you just go through runs like that. Also, with so many hands being played at such a rapid pace, you are bound to see lots of crazy things happen. Good luck to you and I wish you all the best.

100k, 1 solid month of playing 8-10 hours a day grinding 30+ tables at a time ... think I could pull a couple grand? Playing fundamentally sound poker? If you don't mind me asking... how long did it take you get anywhere?

I can, I am playing pretty poorly on the bankroll I built up
... Switching over from Double or Nothings has proved challenging ... I need to learn how to play late games better

I've been playing a ton of HU sngs recently, that really helps the late / short handed game
