Currently I am playing online casino for free and enjoying as I am performing good. But I have heard from people if they upgrade to the real account i.e. as soon as they start play with real money, they tend to loose more. Certain people think that casino software are designed to favor casinos. Is this true?

Whether move to real account?

Most casino games, rather live or online, are made to favor the casino. They are not going to cheat you live or online, it's all about long term odds.
If the odds of hitting one single number while playing roulette is 36:1 [or w/e it is] the casino only pays 32:1. Over the long term, they make money period.
Also, of course people would lose when switching to real money, why be nervous when playing with fake money. It's alot different when they see real money going away on a downswing....or the blackjack tables.Thinking about depositing or transfering funds, and need rakeback? especially at an online casino there is always a house advantage... at least in B&M blackjack you can card-count and theoretically move the edge from the house side to yours... with the RNG's in online casinos, that ain't happening...

Casinos whether traditional or online are meant to benefit their owners and that is why a house always has the advantage over its players even if you are winning. Also intelligent businesses realize that there is no need to defraud their customers if they want long term success. But there are still some “illegal” or “foxy” people running online casinos and cheating their customers just for making easy money. By using various online resources, you can research about the casino and confirm its legitimacy, customer support, payouts and reputation.

I understand the fact that house always has the advantage over its players but I am unable to understand that why people suddenly tend to loose more than winning after they upgrade to real account or is this just a myth? Should I make a real account on http://casinoscorner.com through which I have been playing roulette and slots on guest account?

I'm not an expert on this, but I'd bet that they make the odds at winning in play money games slightly better to entice you to actually deposit and play. They make next to nothing off of play money players, but they know that one in ten (or whatever it is) end up depositing real money.
Thus, their goal is to make it one in eight or one in six go and deposit, so they make you have fun (i.e. win more often). Once you get to the real money casino games, then the odds are stacked against you. Play a real game, like poker. At least you can attempt to control your destiny.Well over $300,000 free every month in 2011 with freerolls, rake races, and rake chases!

I checked the website about which rossknol is talking. It features online casinos and poker rooms and I would also suggest you to play poker rather than casino. Unlike casino games where luck matters a lot, poker is a game of skills and strategies most of the times. One can always enhance his performance in poker by learning tips and tricks.

Casino games are meant for entertainment purposes and also generate good profits to its owners, be it land based or an online casino. Before moving to real account, check whether you are satisfied with the services, try to read reviews about the website and its contents like payment gateway, software etc. And move only if you have plenty of disposable money.

Creating and maintaining a budget seems to me the key at the right online platform. I also analyzed how much money I can afford to bring and I am working on my bankroll management system.
