ive always played on stars because i always thought there was more choice of games and generally a decent field of players. However recently it seems to have been flooded with donks who are calling with any two preflop and chasing down two pairs and gutshots or stupid low flushes. im getting a bit sick of playing bingo. Does this sort of thing happen on all sites or is pokerstars being slowly overtaken by an army of calling stations. Seriously, before anybody says well if you cant beat the donks then you must be a bad player, ive only ever gone busto once on my first bankroll, since then ive turned 10 or 20 dollars into 6 or 700 before cashing out a good few times. My point is with one or two donks at the table your in a good spot, against four or five its like they are ganging up on you, and each one that sucks out on you does you more and more damage. I suppose it could just be a really bad patch of variance but i feel like every table has turned into no foldem holdem. My itm rate has gone from 45-50% to 30 % over the last six weeks, its bad news. Okay whinge over, just wondering if anybody else feels the same or if im just a bit unlucky at the moment. Ffs as we speak my AQ top two pair has just been relentlessly chased down to be rivered by a set of twos, bollox another buy in gone and my floor has been hit, im gonna have to move down in stakes.

Okay just another example, just bust out of a tourney. Im on the button with AK of hearts, blinds are 50 and 100 i have 1800 UTG has 1710 and raises to 300. it is called all the way round the table to me, i have to reraise to thin the field so i make it 700 to go, knowing that this is the hand im getting it all in with if i have to. The origional raiser calls along with one other. Flop comes As Qh Kc. UTG checks as does caller number two to me. i bet all in, he insta calls with 9h 10s. The other player folds turn is the Jh. i didnt even bother to take a second look at the river as my chips slid accross the table to him.
a few points, wtf is he doing raising 9 10 off UTG, Wtf is he doing calling a reraise with it and wtf is he doing getting all his chips in with an almost hopeless draw. Okay he could have been mixing it up with his raise but thats where any defence of how he played that hand ends.

Wow, who would have guessed it? Yet another "OMG, I HATE it when donks call my raises while I'm holding a better hand!" thread. That's kind of how you win at poker, bro...

The more donks at a table, the higher your EV. If you're really getting killed by them, you either have way too small of a sample size and haven't evened out your variance, or when faced with donk play, you become one yourself. Just because everyone else is calling raises with crap doesn't mean you should open up, too.
And I wouldn't be flaming you if you were legitimately posting hand histories and asking for help improving your game. Instead, you're just being an idiot, so I'm making fun of you. That's just how I roll..

Besides dickwad, part of online poker is maximising your profits by finding the best sites. If you look at my other posts you will see that im not the sort to complain that EVERY TIME i get it in good i get beat, but when this is happenening too much its time to look elswhere. My solution to the above problem was to move up in stakes. Problem solved. Your antisocial skills and inabilaty to intergrate into society will take much longer.

The point i was making is that over a period of time, at lower limits it was just impossible to hit the money. Hand histories are irrelevant to this scenario. It was a simple sensible question as its well known that some sites are easier to beat than others.

Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

This is a retarded statement is it???? So when you raise with pocket aces or AK how good do you think your hand is post flop with four or five callers? One of the reasons behind a preflop raise is to thin the field, when thats not happening then your not likely to have good hands hold up. As i said i moved up in stakes and im making money. Tell me why im wrong and i will accept.
