Hi together,

last week I bought the old used computer from a friend of mine. He used to play on fulltilt on it.

Now I tried to create a new account on FT (I played only on one other site before), but got an email saying there occurred an error and my account couldnt be created. I should send them copy of passport etc. ...

After that I deinstalled FT software and reinstalled it, with the same result, ... acc uncreatable ...


Then I looked it up in the net, finding some threads, that say you should :
1. deinstall FT softw
2. delete all registry entries related to FT
3. delete ALL cookies on my browser (I deleted ALL, although I think only FT cookies are important ...)

further it says just reinstall fulltilt again and a new account should be easily created...

So i did it, but still I can´t create a new account on FT :/ ...

So i wrote to the support, still waiting for an answer.

But what I would like to know is WHY didnt that procedure of deleting software,cookies, reg etc and reinstalling after didnt work ?

What identifies this computer to FT, so that they can say, that another account was already created on it previously ?

It cant be the registry nor the cookies ..

Is it the IP, but I thought that the IP of my friend and mine should be actually totall different ones?

Can it be that FT even spies out my XP code or some machine code, and so they know that from this xp code/computer an account was already created before ???

I got another XP version here, that I would install, if it wouldn´t work at all, but I´m afraid of the time I would need to invest to safe all old data and completely reinstall windows.... just for playing some FT poker

Does anyone know ?
