I Just won a deepstack on ladbrokes. buy in was $1.10 and won $222.14, ive had good wins before but as a student i usually have to take the money, this time im intrested in using this as a roll. Ive been playing micro cash ( 0.05/0.10) and built to $261. but thats in 3 days so things are moving quite slow.
I generally do better at tournaments, but play cash aswell.
would anyone have any advice how to manage this roll effectively?
and is multi tabling to boost my profit a option?
Thanks Rich

If I was a tourney player I would probably keep doing that, just move up in buyins. With $250+ you can comfortably play $5 tourneys. Play those until you are down to $180 or so and then drop down to $4 if they have them. Try and keep at least 30-40 buyins in your roll for whatever level you are playing at. Maybe less if you are comfortable with that. Depends on how often you cash I suppose.
Multi tabling is fine as long as you can still play well. Start with 2 tournament at once and see if that is something you are comfortable with and take it from there.Last edited by ColdHardMetal; 03-02-2009 at 05:47 AM.

I'd be playing $1 and $2 tournaments if you are going to be playing MTTs. IMHO, I don't think 40-50 buy-ins are enough. Hit a rough downswing and that roll will be gone if you don't have the discipline to drop down in stakes.
I study at KRE8R's School of Bankroll Management.
If you IM me looking for money or a trade, you will be blocked.

I'd generally say heads up sit n gos are the way to build a bankroll quickly and consistently. However if you are a tournament player, then play no more than $5 buy ins are for you.

Trying to get info on opening accounts.
I have been playing live games for quite sometime, and have been playing online in the 'playmoney' since about the time they passed that gambling bill. I quit playing online, under the impression you can't play for real$. I have recently looked into playing for real$ money and can't seem to figure out the best method to make deposits and be able to get cash outs? I play mainly on Full Tilt, but am registered with PokerStars, as well. Can someone give me a straight forward answer on this?
Thanks,
Idaho Kid

No I am not a narc. I have asked support with fulltilt and pokerstars. I have Mastercards and they don't allow deposits. The explanations that the sites gave me seemed like a bunch of shit. I just want to know what is the easiest way to do this. Is it echecks, western union what. I figured someone could give me the answer a little more cut and dry on a forum. I play on full tilt under 'notfromhere' and pokerstar as 'spudboy'. You can check it. Just ready to make some monnneey!
Help me out!

Is echeck the best way to do it? Is it the only way? Thanks for helping me out.
