So you say you think they shouldn't do this, yet you brag to villain that you have the info? This makes what you did all that much worse. I say shut the fuck up about about being treated like a child when you acted like one. This is a good lesson for you as you enter the game of life. Knowledge & privilege is power; learn not to abuse it. Whine if you want, but the facts are the facts, and I still think Carbon treated you appropriatly. Next time open your mind rather than your mouth.

fwiw I don't think they should've chat banned you. You asked support for info, they gave it to you which means it is public knowledge. You shared it, they cannot ban you for that.
It's terrible that they give out the cards like that, and maybe telling the guy wasn't the best thing as it ruins your edge on being able to find those things out, but there is nothing "wrong" as such about it.
I'd fight it.For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

I honestly feel there is no use fighting it. I gave it a good shot. I agree with you 100%. If they said something like "Villian had X X but DO NOT share this with anyone I would understand. No warning, nothing... anyways I wouldn't trust them with my money now after they threatened to ban my ip. After posting this on major poker forums im sure they are not too happy with me.

Carbon made an acount and responded to my 2+2 LOL
Hi everyone,
On behalf of the CarbonPoker Support Department I am here to respond to the issues and concerns voiced in this thread.
It seems the main issues to be addressed are:
1) Did a member of the support staff reveal the hand history, and if so, what repercussions have there been for such a serious mistake?
2) Why could they see the hand history at all?
1) Unfortunately yes, it seems that a support staff member did in fact reveal the other players hole cards after the hand had taken place. Further investigation of support chat history reveals that this player has tried to obtain opponents hand history on numerous occasions, and while he was told by multiple staff that we could not reveal such information it seems that three of the support staff members, at one time or another, did abide his request. This is certainly contrary to what they have been trained to do, and due to the severity of the issue the staff members in question are no longer employed by our company.
2) Support had access to the hand history for two reasons. One reason was to provide some base level collusion investigation and detection. The other was to assist players who did not understand why they lost a hand that had gone to showdown. These questions are generally most prevalent regarding Omaha. In light of this issue, we have now entirely removed the ability of base level support to see hand histories, and any such queries will be handled my management.
I would like to take this chance to clarify that the information that was revealed took place AFTER the hand had finished. Our database records are not written until after the hand has completed so it is not possible anywhere in our operation to see information about players cards while a hand is still underway.
I hope this explanation helps to clear up the issue and our response to it. We take this matter very seriously and feel that the appropriate action has taken place to ensure an incident of this nature never occurs again.
Regards,
Jared

My response:
The thing you don't address here which I am sure would be a concern to any player thinking of depositing on your site.
1. You gave me a permanent chat ban with no warning at all. I told you I would never even try to get a hand history information anymore... and now that you say that is not even possible anymore. Why is my chat still banned??? This is not a good way to treat your customers. The only reason you gave for my chat ban was me being a 'security breach" but in fact your workers are the true security breach here. I ask you to admit your mistake here and un ban my chat.
2. Your live chat worker threatened to ban my ip and confiscate all my money if I kept "harrassing" him or anyone else on an important issue to me. This is very shady
3. How can anyone trust your company now? You have shown here. If any of your workers make a mistake there is a chance the player gets the blame and gets his bankroll confiscated and or chat banned.Last edited by Kayos; 11-19-2008 at 06:12 AM.
