SERIOUS QUESTION
ok guys...serious question..tell me where I went wrong here. About 20 minutes into a 90 player 26.00 tournament and I get AA in middle position. Someone (chip stack of 2500) raises 280 when blinds are 80. It comes to me holding AA and I reraise to 1080. Only the original raiser calls. OK. He calls and doesn't push me all in, so I don't think he has a pocket pair or he may have just pushed..and I don't think he is too strong. FLOP...K J 3. He raises 700...OK. The only hand I"m really worried about is KJ and I figure if he had that, he would have checked it. SO I think my AA is still go, so I push all in. He calls and shows KQ vs my AA. nothing on the turn, Q on the river, he hits 1 of his 5 outs.
What did I do wrong there? I got him all in with 5 outs after the flop. Funny thing is I later reraise someone all in and my QQ loses to A 8.
Classic FullTilt poker. Now that will go down as a 26.00 loss for me when I was up HUGE on both hands when the $$ went in.

welll..it's night after night like this. Whether you believe me or not, the majority of my losses are hands just like this, so I must be doing something wrong. I consistantly get these online retards all in after the flop up 75% or more and lose..been going on over a year like this..just waitng. BUT..I"m done at FT...giving PokerStars a shot.

no. if you get consistently get your money in as a favorite, you will be a big winner in the longterm. if you dont believe that to be true, you should definitely not be playing online.
there is no difference from site to site. random cards are random cards. i wish you good luck at pokerstars, but if you dont get a better mindset about variance and what it means to be a winner, i dont think you will have much success.

Thanks for the advice, but I don't think my attitude has anything to do with the way the cards fall after I'm all in up HUGE.

I'll continue getting my $$$ in with the best hand...like my 18 player 8.00 tourny where I went all in (kinda getting low on the final table) with 77 and got called by 5 6...flop was J 5 6. Yea..you get the point.
