Thumbs down What is up with Full Tilt?

First, they stop processing with epassport, and now electronic bank transfers get held for 2 weeks?

I submitted a withdrawal request last Friday night. I think it was Tuesday (I deleted that mail) when I got the approval notification.

Today I get the following:

Quote:
Dear XXXXXXXX,

We are contacting you regarding your recent Bank Transfer withdrawal XXXXXXXX for
$XXXX.XX.

Due to a technical issue outside of our control, your withdrawal may be delayed by
up to 3-5 business days.
The issue has since been resolved, and we expect all future bank transfer
withdrawals will be processed within the usual 7-10 business day period.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this delay may have caused.

Sincerely,

Full Tilt Poker Support
So I wrote back. asking is this another 3 to 5 days from now, plus another 7 to 10 after that?

And I get this:

Quote:
Hello XXXXX,

Thank you for your response.

The delay is a further 3-5 days on top of the usual 7-10 business days
for processing. In other words, it could be a total of 15 business days
from the date your bank transfer was approved before the funds arrive in
your checking account.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please feel free to ask.
Best of luck at the tables!

Regards,

Jeremy

I'm pissed. I'm in the middle of playing their Daily Doubles, and I'm like, What's the use of playing, if I can't get my money in a timely fashion?

I've noticed they are not making it on their guaranteed games, falling quite short of the needed players... are they in trouble or something?

I hope they don't pull a neteller on me. I had quite a bit of money tied up there for a long time.

I could just be really tired or really bored. But those don't look like the FTP emails I used to get when I would withdraw. Actually they look nothing like it. I suppose they could have changed their format. But I am pretty positive they have pre-written memos that they just copy and paste.

Really Wierd.

I don't play there, so I don't know. But if I did, and it took a month, I'd do what I did at FT. I took what I had left in there, and traded it in their forum for $ at PS.

There is no excuse for holding money so long.

I only posted this as a heads up to what looks to me like potential trouble.

I can forward actual emails to anyone that wants to see them.

Full Tilt have fantastic software, good games, decent bonuses and rakeback and is easy to play.

But their support is absolutely dire, patronising and slow.

Epassporte has pulled out of the poker industry completely. It's an industry-wide problem that is not directly related to Full Tilt.

I prefer just getting checks sent to my house. They are really reliable and typically arrive about 7-10 days after I request it.

Regardless, thanks for the heads up, and I hope your transaction goes through shortly.

RG.

Yeah, there was a loophole re: UIGEA to do with them. There are other ways to get around it.

If you'll permit me a temporary spam, I reccommend Online Casino News: Online Casinos & Online Gambling News which frequently contain updates about this sort of stuff, and the bloke who writes for them on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays is a handsome devil with a huge cock. He in fact wrote about this very thing recently.

As fas as I know, epassport did not pull out completely. I keep getting spam popups on the Jokerstars lobby promoting a special epassport deposit bonus offer.
