Basically, at college, we play every week at the same time. We usually do a 5 dollar buy in with 6-9 people in a tournament type format, NOT A CASH GAME. Does anyone know any sites that we can set up a PRIVATE play money tournament? We are American, so we can't do private real money tournaments. We will handle the money situation ourselves, we just need to figure out a way to play over the summer. Thank you for the suggestions.

Reach FTP support, and set up a real money tournament. Why bother with play money? They need four days notice, and you'l need some time to get your invitations out. You could set up a real money tourney on FTP, with a password, and only your group gets to play. You could even set it up for 18, instead of 9, in case you get extra peeps.
