Bodog, 2 nightly freerolls for $500 & $1000, sure theres 1000 players but theres 4000 on any other site for a measly $50 freeroll, these run nightly at 9pm and 11pm i think..one of the 2 freerolls requires 30 player points, when u sign up they automatically give u 30 player points so ull get at least 1 freeroll, the other one requires no player points..

Its completely a flash based site, nothing to download. They have freerolls that un every hour on the :30 24 hours a day, (or almost 24). Depending on the time of day, you will get about 500 entrants, with a garaunteed $25 prize pool.

I tried to load their website and the majority of their images were broken. I tried a few times.

I play purely free poker (especially when I've drank too much). One morning I woke up to a credit card bill that would choke a horse.
If you check out my sig you will find a site that WON'T take money from US players and everyone can always play for free. real money freerolls every 15min. not high stakes, but a pleasant distraction. I like Pitbull too, but I had to many bad beats

So how do they make money? What do others think of Pure Poker?

Pitbull poker sucks, dont play there...Play the bodog freerolls, or join some poker forums that offer freerolls for their members...to find out which ones, look in the private tourneys for freerolls and the names of forums sponsoring them, then google the name...Cake has some great private freerolls probably the best out of them all, stay away from shady sites like pitbull..the other one the guy mentioned, apparently dopesnt take money from US players, so theres no point in playing their freerolls as you wont be able to cash out to US address..Pure play is bullshit I played there a few times, the point of a freeroll is to get some bankroll free and then use it in real money tournies or cash games, if u want to play for free and make a few dollars a month if ur lucky then pure play might be alright, but after a few intial freerolls you will need to deposit a subscription fee to keep playing in them if u dont win thie first free ones they offer u...but for building a bankroll i dont think its effective.

Using the sidebar navigation to "Tournaments", it appears this forum hasn't had such a tournament since 2004.

Thus where they get their money and how it isn't a totally-free freeroll beyond the first few. They probably view the first few as lose-leaders to get people to subscribe.

You won't build a big bankroll at pureplay. I enjoy playing there because theres no chance I'll lose money. Usually at 3am after to many crown royal and cokes. I have won there though they pay out to US players. not much but I just cant get myself exited about a poker tourney unless theres something at stake. Now they have a WSOP seat freeroll. (limited time) I know theres alot of competition but somebody has to win right. I have had some luck at poker stars though. They seem to offer some good "special freerolls". They even deposited 5 bucks into my account for no reason.

Can someone explain why Pitbull poker sucks? Because I play there and I don't want to waste my time if there is something wrong with it.
