I had over $400 stolen on my Visa at Full Tilt. Someone accessed personal info from the site and played their with the stolen funds. I never played at the site but they had personal info on file, and my account history shows I have never made a deposit or withdrawl at the site. Visa tells me they may not be able to reverse charges because it is a gambling site. Full Tilt tells me it is not their problem, Visa will have to charge back. They take no responsiblity for their compromised security. EVERYONE BEWARE FTP IS NOT SAFE!!!

you sure it was the site? maybe it was just your password that got stolen by someone else

I do feel bad for the OP, but this shows no reason to not trust FTP. It looks like the normal case of someone stole my credit card info...or even worse...I donked off my 400 dollar role at 1/2 in 30 minutes and need a way out!

FT is safe enough, dont tell lies. Probably you got tricked by someone, and you do not realize. .

I have talked to FTP and they admit that somehow, someone accessed my credit card info from their site. Although I never made a deposit and never played, my Visa info was stored on their site. The transaction showed up on my statement as Full Tilt Poker.com Dublin. So, my info was stolen at their site and used at their site, by who I don't know. My only recourse now is a charge-back by my bank, and I was told that is not likely. So, be very careful on these sites, no matter how big they are or who plays there.

Sorry to hear about the loss of money again. You would think that more people would hear about this if FTP admitted a flaw in security. It's also strange that FTP won't do an investigation into this since every transaction has some sort of a trail.

Are you sure that they didn't just say that someone not related to FTP used a stolen credit card at their site in Ireland? There just seems to be too many holes and atypical behavior on FTP's side to not raise an eyebrow at this post. If they admitted a security flaw it would normally be huge news heard around the poker community. If I were you, I'd post the e-mails here to see of there is some other way to interpret what they have said.
