There is no evidence that the information was stolen from the site. OP is implying that if someone gets access to my Visa card they can use it to deposit on Poker sites and Visa won't care. Bull Shit. Tell Visa you never, EVER deposited there, you dont know who or how they got access to your info and you need to cancel this card and reverse the charges.

Full Tilt isnt the ones to blame, someone stole your card details from someone else and then used those details to get money into Full Tilt. Your issue is with Visa and Visa only.

Report your card stolen and get a new card with a new number issued and claim back the funds as a fraudulent transaction, remember it is up to Visa to prove you authorised the transaction, not you to prove you didnt.

at least you can take comfort in the fact that they wont be able to cash out if they used your card..If u never deposited with the card at the site I dont see how they could steal your info there..Probably some retail cashier with a photographic memory memorized it and then used it, its really the main method for stealing CC info these days (since all sites require cvv2) and thats only found on card, unless they are very sophisticated hackers...even if ur number was at the site its very secure, if someone hacked it, i think the problem would be more widespread as i doubt they would settle for a $400 payday, since the equipment and expertise to hack such a system would require 1000x that amount..

I don't know how they scammed my card, whoever it was, I even have it enrolled in verified by Visa. Here is one of the emails I received from FTP.

Anyway, now I wait for the bank to send the charge back forms and see what happens. FTP seems to favor a charge back so I don't see why Visa should have a problem with it. Just beware of thieves out there, they can even outwit Verified by Visa and FTP.

It doesn't seem as though much outwitting was going on here. If you really wanted to, you could get someone's CC info and use it online. FTP and visa are fully aware of this and they are just following standard procedure to get your money back to you. This will not happen overnight.

Just make sure you keep your information safe. If this happens too often, credit card companies will definitely take note. GL.
