It's well documented how I feel about
Pokerstars Sit n Go's and the extreme skewing of probabilities based on chipstack size. I still am convinced there is an issue there, but this is about giving them credit for actually investigating something to its proper conclusion.
I sat down at a $ .50 / $1.00 limit table and within 10 hands could tell something was not "correct". I alerted PS support while I stayed at the table a few more minutes and they sent me an email back to say "they are going to look into it". Well.. They did. Here is the Email:
Hello Will,
First allow me to apologize for the delay in responding to your report.
This particular case was quite involved and more time than usual was required for the review.
We have concluded that the play of 'Farmboy64' and 'DBZ1989' violated the integrity of our games. They have been informed that they are no longer welcome to play on our site. In addition players who were affected by their ring play were compensated at their expense. You lost a total of $3.75 to these players, and that amount has been credited to your account.
The integrity of the games at
PokerStars is of paramount importance to us and we will not abide unfair play in our games. We work hard to police our games to assure our players of a fair, secure place to play. In the rare cases where collusion has actually occurred, we make sure that any players affected are compensated appropriately.
Thank you for your continued play here on
PokerStars. Please do not hesitate to let us know any time we can be of help.
Regards,
MarkW
