Hi All
I've seen this discussed on other sites but I was wondering what experience you all have had at Party Poker regarding the seemingly ridiculous number of hands that are won on the river card? I can accept bad beats, they are part of poker, and I can also accept that I may go through an unlucky streak whereby I might lose out with AA or KK to a hand like J10 a few times in a row. What I've witnessed on Party over the last few months though completely defies belief. Looking through my hands I've worked out that on the hands I've done all in with over the last few months around 75% of them I've been pre flop favorite. I've actually only won about 10% of those hands and at least 75% of the hands I've lost have been with a river card hit by another player. Its not just me and I've seen plenty of others get saved or get hit by a lucky river but the percentage of hands that are won on the river seem statistically too high. Ultimately if I don't like playing there I can go elsewhere and its not as if I'm playing for serious money but I wondered what others thought?
Cheers,
ew_twohigh

Everyone knows online poker is rigged.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

lolz...
Online poker is not rigged. There are literally millions of logged hands that show that the cards are random.
You don't have to worry about this, especially on a site like party.Well over $300,000 free every month in 2011 with freerolls, rake races, and rake chases!
www.RakeGuard.com has the highest rakeback percentages available.
RakeGuard...more than just rakeback.

yesterday I played live poker and the final 3 people were 3 donks that never play. I've seem the donkiest stuff, the donkiest calls, and hitting. Some guy had a fucking horseshoe in his ass, unreal.
So live poker is also rigged. After seing that in live poker, no wonder you see the donkiest stuff online has well. It's the same people except online, they can hide behind a computer screen.

well there is no way, statistically speaking, that everyone gets beat 75% of the time, so that large of a number must be just you. Yeah river cards suck to loose on, but remember that there are only 5 cards, so losing on the fifth is not that rare. I mean for a flush, strait, or full house you need at least 3 comm. cards, so there is a good chance that it will come on the river. For a pair there is a 1/5 chance, you know, the odds are not that low for you to beat beat n the river. Infact they are prob the highest considering you have 5 cards to play rather than 4 or 3 /rant. But I don't play PP so I can;t really comment much more than that.

For every poker site that exists, I have seen a post saying that someone gets a ridiculous number of bad beats on the river....Including, Partypoker, Pokerstars, FTP, UB, Sportsbook, Cake poker, and many others...And its not just online poker, have you ever watched tourneys on TV? they get some bad beats too....

There's a million threads like this. Search before posting paranoid drivel please.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
