I have never had connection problems on pokerstars yet.
But yesterday(once) and today(thrice) I had very weird connection problems. First of all I always had them when I was in the final phase of Heads Up. I was actually winning everytime I had them!!(once the other guy only had 100, with blinds being 50/100) DAM
Happened 4 times.
Somehow nothing worked with Poker Stars. I restarted the software, didnt help. Only restarting the computer helped(but i still lost 2 games and alot of chips in the other ones). I could connect to the internet normally, google etc.. worked but not pokerstars software.
Anyone had similiar connections problems? Idea what to do?
They just don't make sense to me because everything else on my computer worked and the internet was still working. (instant messaging and browser).
Luckily I wasn't playing to high when it happened :/

It might help to have as few programs running as possible when you are playing. You're right, they will probably just blow you off regarding your d/c, but it's worth a try at least.

May not be PStars at all. Your ISP could be having DNS problems. You may want to start there first. Make sure you have the approximate times when the drops occured along with the dates.
