For the absolute sake of not saying the absolute obvious...

Bodog sucks because they are incredibly slow and game availability at offtimes blows.
Well over $300,000 free every month in 2011 with freerolls, rake races, and rake chases!

www.RakeGuard.com has the highest rakeback percentages available.

    RakeGuard...more than just rakeback.

Party Poker is by far the worse. I downloaded the software and it had a bundle package with it. Totally screwed my computer. Every time I turned my computer on, it took 20 minutes to get though the pop ups.

I had never heard of the Absolute poker scandal so looked it up and came across The Absolute Poker Scandal

They have a YouTube PokerXFactor video of the "infamous" tourney and I tell you... it is fuckin spooky

One theory is that he wanted to get caught, which seems obvious.

Rumour I heard was he did it to prove a point. Not sure what point exactly but nvm...
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

If ... let me repeat that ... IF you believe what Absolute Poker says, the employee was one of their programmers that found a way to manipulate the system. He presented his finding and suggested a way to fix it. Management ignored him. Some say management did this because the fix was too expensive to do. Others say because management thought the odds that an outsider would be able to do so were less than zero. Still others say it was a combination of those two things. Frustrated, the employee then did it to prove it could be done. He didn't take any money out of the system because he wasn't trying to steal but to make a point. Unfortunately for AP, players picked up on the point before AP management did.

Knowing plenty of programmers over my life, I can actually see one doing it to make their point and them thinking they were completely justified in doing so and doing it for the company's own good.

Even without knowing about the scandal, Absolute is the poker room I've played at and never redeposited. It was just an overall bad experience.
