Default New poker room in tampa florida

I just heard about a new poker room that opened up in Tampa today called Lucky's card room. There at I-275 and waters. They have 1-2 no limit holdem, multi-table tourneys at 12pm and 6pm every day with rebuys, $10,000 bad beat jackpot, and lots of drink specials. I'm heading over there now and I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Default Lucky's

There's a $2000 freeroll there on Saturday 7-12 for the first 100 players through the doors. You can register starting at 10:30am for the noon event. There is also a $25k freeroll for anyone who logs 50 hours of play between now and August 15.

you guys are in tampa too?? i've got to say, the change to no limit in florida is the most proffitable law change ive ever been a part of. is lucky's a big room? how many people are typically there? i like playing against other decent card players but when it comes down to making money id rather take tourists money at the hard rock. let me know if you guys ever want to get together and take peoples money. lol

it is for the card roooms at the dog tracks and such. but the casino kind of "loop holed it". the law says you can buy no more or no less for 100$. well the casino lets u sit with 100$ in chips but they started letting cash on the table play. as long as its there before the cards are dealt. so u can really sit with like 300 i think for the 1-2nl. they put this all on a "hiatus" because there isnt a tax agreement with the casino's and the state yet. but once they settle that theyre going to allow this again and bring back the 2-5nl and the 10-25nl. I CANT WAIT.

and even if it is just 1-2nl with 100 buy it, people just THROW $100 away like it's monopoly money. i've left there up 400-450 in like 5 hrs. and i know 2 guys who quit their jobs to play full time because theyre making so damn much.

its a big step for us folk down in florida ok??
