I have made me this question many times. Do you think that cards are coming out randomly or not?

Do you think that cards of Poker Rooms are really random?

Well, there are two ways to look at it: First is the deterministic view, in that nothing is random; everything is predictable. The second is that some things happen randomly, and if a card room uses those to determine the cards that come out, then they can generate truly random numbers.
The fact is, if you take the deterministic view, that people will eventually be able to figure it out. When you say that there's no way, you're basically saying that we've done the absolute best possible, there's no way we're doing better.
Which is not unlike the famous quote: "Everything that can be invented has been invented!"
Even then, though, we're likely to find another thing to base random numbers off of.
There is the view that there are things that are perfectly random, though. I think this is fairly self-explanatory.
Either way, though, we don't know how to predict them now, so it's not like there are people who know that they'll catch a miracle card on the river or some such."You can ask the sky to summon the wind, but the sky will summon what wind it will."

Yes its random.
Thousands of poker players have data bases with thouands of hands. Hands hold up as often as they should and lose about as often as they should. If online poker was rigged or the deal wasnt kosher and people hit there two outers more then they should, it would be public knowlege.
The thing is poker sites want the game kosher, they make money, alot of money and there is no reason to screw with that. Infact its worth it to them to spend millions on fraud provention to make sure the game isnt spoiled.

Not random - On line Poker rooms have Oompa-Loompa's dealing about 6 tables each, selecting the cards at whim.
"People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, they make them." - George Bernard Shaw

It's not true randomness as it's determined by set logarithms but it's as close as we can currently get besides dealing them ourselves.

not completely random
i dont think theyr completetly random.
when a dealer shuffles card its left to fate where the cards fall. nobody has any knowledge as to how the cards are randomized and presumming the dealer is doing his job properly they r not influenced by anybody and so can be called random.
a random card generator cannot pic cards randomly because it still has to be told which hands to deal. it is told by the mathematic formulas designed by boffins as to which card to deal in what order. they will be so advanced that they will be very close to random. just not 100% perfect.
the main difference may happen between different types of random card generators.
i reckon some generators have been designed to give u more good starting hands and in return give you more bad beats. whereas others give u less good starting hands but less bad beats.
its just when playing at pacific poker i was eliminated 9 times in a row while i was 80%+ favourite in tournements. so i quit pacific and went to pokerstars.
at pokerstars i have never encountered this problem! and ive been there for a good 50 tournements!
