Got to chatting with a player I began to respect through the last 60 hands we had played in the tourney we were in. Some willsparrow wannabe was complaining about how rigged on line poker is. I mentioned that my AA won to KK right around the correct amount according to PT, the good guy asked what PT was, and I explained to him (and the table) about PT.
In retrospect, is this a dumb thing to do? The fewer people who know about PT and other software the better, I guess.

Yes. This was a bad move. Truth be told though, not likely to impact us much.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

I don't think it makes a huge difference, other than the fact that letting people know that you use it may affect how they play against you. This is why I wouldn't mention it.
Thinking players who are likely to turn into winning players are going to find out about Poker Tracker. It is reccomended on TV programs, in books, in poker magazines, on forums.
Alot of donks know about Poker Tracker but are too lazy to use it, too stupid to interperet data correctly or have a major lack of dicipline. E.g. They think hmm that guy who just shoved Preflop is 8/1/AF0.2 but still I have QQ, how can I fold that? Maybe he has AK.
My friend I reccomended to get it has bought it and never used it. He's now busto!
