Default Waiting until I have cash.

I'm playing some free play over on FTP until I have money to deposit somewhere. In the meantime, I'm keeping my hand histories. anyone know where I can use those and let others see to see where I'm making mistakes?

Just post them on here. Even if it is play money we can evaluate your play.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R

KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

Okay, next question is: How do I get my hand histories from FTP onto here?

Do you know where they are stored?

Sometimes they you have to enable them in the options to be logged on your computer. Then you should be able to figure out where they are and copy and paste them onto here.

Okay. First game is a 1 table SNG. I finished 5th. As far as I can tell, it was just two bad beats in a row on what I felt were solid hands.

No they were not bad beats. You have a LOT to learn about poker my friend. J4 offsuite and 82 offsuite are not playable hands except in the big blind for free.

I didn't play 82o as far as I can tell. And the only reason I pulled the J4o was because it was a cheap shot to see what the flop was (and I've had it work before).

However, I don't deny that I have a lot to learn. That's why I'm here

You are right you did not play 82. Why then did you put the Hand History in? Just curious.

J4 is not worth calling with even for a cheap shot.

Also the A7o hand was no good cause you got outkicked. This is why you dont ever want to play Axo lower than A10 or even AJ depending on the game. They are just not good hands. The only time I would play A7o is if I was in the SB and it folded around to me. I would then raise with it to make a steal for the BB.

How long have you been playing poker for? Have you read any books?

I've been playing for only a few months. Watching TV and all when I can, and I've got one book. It's Phill Hellmuth's Texas Hold'Em.

So on my histories, you guys just need the ones I'm playing, not folding, right?

Exactly. The problem is that you are obviously playing too many hands so you need to refine your starting hands. I would suggest getting a book that details good starting hands and what positions to play them from. Small Stakes HoldEm by David Sklansky helped me immensley in this area. The problem is that this book is for Limit only. It does help with the fundamentals of the game though.
