I have been playing on partypoker and just came across "step up sng's". The first step is $3 entry and then you must place 1-2 to have a seat in the next step or 3-4 to try that step again with no extra fee, there are 5 steps altogether, 6 being the last one with a chance of winning $2000. These sng's have 10 players in each step, what are the odds of someone placing 1-2 fives times in a row to reach the final step? Worth a go? Or am i going to have to get real lucky?

I like the idea of getting another free shot for finishing 3rd/4th. You're gonna have to get lucky but it's prob one of those "good when you're drunk" sng's

In the last step do they do a normal pay-out or is it winner takes all?

Its top 5 out of 10 get paid in the last step, 1st place getting $2000, I like the idea of turning $3 into $2000 so im gonna give it a go later on.
